Harry is a man of intense contradictions, Matt's finding. Admittedly, they've known each other for about 30 minutes, but that's enough time to catch a vibe. Matt feels himself tossed tempestuously between the gentle ruffle of Harry's broad palm to his hair and the lurch--jerk--tectonic pull--of something. At the bottom of his brain, Matt identifies it as a force like his own capability towards bringing bodies into the same radio frequency, a connection that can plunge marrow-deep at a single touch.
Their eyes glance off each other, and the feeling fades. Though Matt is hungry to feel it again.
He reroutes.
"Ah ... it's my first time too," he says. "But if it helps," with a small, almost playful smile, "I gel pretty well with people who have control issues." In, you know. Specific contexts. "I'd love to go see what the library has blueprint-wise. Hard to say what we'll find, but it seems like the best place to start."
Matt pauses. Turns his gaze to the scar that splits Harry's face.
"Um. And if I can ask ... what was that just now?"
