The dress itself has a secret: it has six pockets that can be shown or magically hidden away like compartments. The pockets themselves can be located anywhere she pleases on the dress, and they can shift to different locations at Alia’s will.

Each pocket can fit up to the size of a small parcel, and can accommodate up to three pounds. If a pocket is “hidden” from view, its contents remain safe inside of the fabric of the dress, and mysteriously do not seem to alter the shape or fit of the dress in any way that would reveal the pockets’ contents or location.
