Wearing this cloak will allow Shanks to transform himself into any small or medium-sized object of his choice once per day. Does he want to become a wicker basket? Good for him. A chair? A little kinky, all things considered, but doable.

While transformed, Shanks is still able to speak, though very limitedly. However, he is indistinguishable from any object, and the naked eye would not be able to detect that anything is awry, allowing him to hide as fully as he pleases. If someone touches him, he is able to grapple them and adhere them to his cloak for a limited time of one minute.
