i was originally going to put this in the game thread, BUT i think it needs to be said here. shari, i remember when saltburnt was just a twinkle in your eye, way back in the early ideas stage when it was a lil brainworm we all talked about — and i'm so, so happy to have been on that journey and see how it's grown into the amazing game it is now. not to be sappy and gross, but i know how afraid you were to take the leap, but i'm so proud you did — you've created such a welcoming, engaging game that's never boring, with so many mechanics that feel so rewarding.
you work so hard behind the scenes, put so much of yourself and your energy into making this game into the amazing community that it is, and for that, i don't think we can all thank you enough. seriously, you're a wonderful mod with incredible ideas, and it's been an honor to brainstorm alongside you and eden, so i wanted to thank you for trusting me with your baby and inviting me to be part of the process. ♥
mod and game stuff aside, you're one of my favorite people and one of my favorite writers, ever. i always feel bad when i'm bugging you for 500 threads with my ass, but you're so fun to write with, plot with, and chat with — you always came to the table with genius ideas, you're ALWAYS such a descriptive and vivid writer with the most solid and distinct character voices that make it so FUN to bounce off of, and you're just so funny and open and warm in general. i cannot stress enough how lyrical and poetic your writing is, and how much of a treat it feels like, every time i get one of your tags in my inbox. it makes me go insane and want to fly to it immediately.
all around, i think you're an incredible person and friend and rper. i'm really thankful for all of the threads we've had together, and hopefully all of the threads we'll have in the future. i feel like all of our ships have hit me like a truck with how Good and galaxy-brained they are, but paulina is and will continue to be one of my favorites. i'm really looking forward to see what's to come with them in the new year, and developing our freaky little ship (and trio ship) more, so thank u for blessing and indulging me.
