[It's the fourth or fifth time Kate's reawoken, this time with the memory of her bare feet on the cool grass of the manor's front lawn, her breath rattling in and out of her lungs as she runs, as she fights against the dawning paranoid horror that threatens to consume her. Seeing another person who isn't the maid is -- unexpected, yes, but sort of reassuring in it's way.
