NEVER HAVE I EVER

it's a sleepover, and you're all invited. this is never have i ever, and the rules are simple: icly comment with your character and a "never have i ever", people respond with judgement, jokes, or in the event they've done what you haven't, a shot of alcohol. comment around, thread hop, and react as you see fit!
(meme threads aren't game canon, but they're not not game canon either, right)

Oh, yeah, I mean ... that's a good point.

[ Ahahaha, hahaha ... ha ... ]

I wish I could say "never have I ever felt guilty for something entirely out of my control," but that doesn't feel accurate.

It doesn't?

Because you feel guilty about things out of your control? Why?

I've felt guilty about having things other people don't. Surviving things other people didn't.

I don't know. Maybe guilt gives me the illusion of control?

[ A phrase he's not sure will resonate with Heinrix. Heinrix's control is usually extremely non-illusory.

Sidebar, it's a little strange talking to him about killing people in dreams. Matt thought he'd have more separation than this. Of all the things he typically doesn't feel guilt about, fantasies top the list. ]

Why? You survive as you must. Mankind must survive, even if we leave some in our past, we cannot feel guilty about having what we need. Or even want.

[ Heinrix may be from Catholic Hell 40K, but his Catholic Guilt manifests in self-hate as warptouched. ]

Guilt only gives one a platform to feel better about the failings of others.

Perhaps it is control, in its own way.
