John Irving from AMC's The Terror, aka God and everyone else's (least) favorite Victorian Royal Navy officer who is not only just doomed to die like all the other ones (although dare I say, perhaps somehow arguably even more doomed to die than average?) because damn, were the odds just truly against almost the entire concept of Victorian Polar Expeditions altogether, am I RIGHT folks (tbf: the odds did have a point) but also happens to be the ship's resident extremely religious (yes, even for a Victorian) & extremely repressed (yes, even for a Victorian) & EXTREMELY closeted Homophobic Homosexual™ (yes—), so um... ☺️🙏

I already tossed him up on the most recent TDM too and will HAPPILY accept any further tags one might choose to give him as long as u simply promise to forgive my slowness (or at least idk maybe find it charming or perhaps even enticing somehow but I mean I can't tell u what to do either) but commenting here as well to officially make my recently circling interest... well, yknow. official, I guess.

+ also for the record I did previously used to play an OC here who was perhaps very slightly based on Irving — otherwise known as Dawn / ruralize! — by which I do obviously mean completely 100% legally distinct in every way and that any similarities or resemblances are so entirely coincidental I am in fact only just now beating the allegations, legally speaking that is , but like if u do actually happen to remember her then well yeah you can probably at least approximate pretty much his whole entire vibe from there alone except, please just understand that he is almost certainly both even worse AND even more annoying.
