[ Oh, ugh, still charming. It takes her a while, delayed even further by sipping at the drink. There's a reason she hesitates to bring this one up with someone outside of a certain age range - or the majority of profiles of the younger guests, even. There's a whole list of what qualifies someone to hear about this without making her feel embarrassed, and while Harry wouldn't be on that list, he's also a near-perfect-stranger. So hey.

Mila's usual bubbly confidence tones down a little. ]

I believe so. It's the animation from Japan? I can't say I've seen much of it outside of a few films.

You're a fan, I take it?

You got it! Yeah, I. Yeah. When I actually get to travel around I go to conventions all the time? I dress up as the characters, sometimes. Not just from anime; games too. That's called cosplay.

[ Saying all this with the confidence that he's going to be uninterested and promptly move on to something else. And then forget that the party girl has a secret hobby. ]

You're a doctor, so that means you can't share anything I just told you, right?

[ Tone and smile should indicate that she's joking. And the joke is to mask the self-consciousness. ]

Do to have to make the costumes, then? It sounds like an awful lot of very exacting work.

Is it much like ah, Star Trek conventions?

[He mimes zipping his mouth closed.]

That's right. Complete confidentiality.

[ She laughs, ] Me? Oh, no way. I pay people to do that. And to get me the wigs and to make the accessories and all that. They're pretty expensive, but that's just because I wanna look perfect. I always do my own make up, though.

[ And everything else is magic: aka dad's money. ]

Yeah, sorta? I've never been to one of those. Have you?

Ohh, I see. So you're essentially a model? I can see that.

[He lowers his voice conspiratorially.]

Once. When I was a student.

You could say that.

[ She certainly likes to hear it. ]

Okay, I can see that too. But what kinda student are we talking? High school, med school—?

I shall.

Pre-med. There was a boy I fancied who wanted to go. So... off I went. It was alright. I don't think I'm big enough a fan to really enjoy such things, but I understand the appeal.

[longlegs]

[ Aw. Her grin is warm, then more playful, stepping closer. ]

Well, if I manage to make you fancy me enough, maybe I'll convince you to come to one with me, too.

I don't think you'd have to work very hard.

[He sips his wine, but mostly just so it's not blatantly obvious that he's far, far more interested in her.]

Did you bring your costumes here?

[longlegs]

[ Side by side with him, glass up to her lips, one arm is crossed under her chest, fingers anchored on the inner side of the opposite elbow. ]

Yep. I bring them everywhere. [ Almost a whisper, starting to sound more like her flirtatious self, ] I put them on, sometimes. On special occasions.

What might qualify as a special occasion?

[Part flirtation, part genuine curiosity. He's honestly intrigued by this whole concept.]

Anything that involves someone taking it off me afterwards.

[ All flirtation. But she relaxes, grinning down at him. ]

Just something I do with people who're into it. Roleplay. All the fun stuff you're not allowed to do at conventions.

My dear girl, I cannot imagine anyone who wouldn't be into it with you. I suppose some might balk at the playacting if you were dressed as, say, sentient broccoli. But even then.

[A sip of wine, but he's not hurrying his way through the glass.]

What's your favourite of your costumes? I'd assume it's from your favourite program.

Oh my god. Sentient broccoli.

[ Wow, how dare he make her laugh like that? Criminal. ]

Hmm. How about I show you?

[Hey, when he turns on the charm he can do okay!]

I would enjoy that very much.

Finish that drink, then.

[ Smiling like it's a dare between friends, she finishes what's left in her glass and lightly flips some hair behind her shoulder, adjusting her sunglasses. ]

But you should bring the bottle.

[Down the hatch it goes, and he grabs the bottle by the neck.]

Lead on, my dear.

[He's doing great with the life decisions once again.]

You got it.

[ And she links her arm with his, walks back inside and slides her sunglasses up over her head again. The walk to her room takes a little while, and once they're there it's a reflection of her personality. Decorations, art, way too many clothes and accessories, a bundle of make up in enough tones to make a rainbow jealous. ]

So, you said you're a doctor — wanna tell me about it while I go find the costume?

Certainly.

[He sits on the edge of the bed, setting the wine carefully nearby.]

It's a bit gruesome, I'm afraid. I work in accident and emergency - trauma surgery, generally. If you've driven your car into a wall or impaled yourself on something doing home repairs, chances are I'll be the one looking after you.

I've done it quite some time, now. It can be... stressful. Long days, you know. Lots of human wreckage. It can be a little depressing, if you're not careful.

[He forces himself to shut up. Nobody wants to hear that a doctor is depressed.]

[ Kinda depressing, yeah, and maybe she should've picked another topic, but it seemed clever at the time — she asks a few more questions, hopefully steering it away from any topics that might bring the man down, and after disappearing for a little while, she reemerges in a pink nurse outfit (disclaimer: idk if this actually a cosplay of anything sorry to anyone out there who might know oop), heels making her well over 6' tall now. She swings the fake stethoscope once or twice. ]

So... when was your last check up?

[mygoodsir]

[Oh.

There is no hiding his delight.]

Goodness. Ah. I must admit it was some time ago.

[He has to look up. Way up. It's nice.]

[longlegs]

[ He isn't making a face, he isn't laughing her off - already huge points in his favor. Mila walks over until she's right in front of him, legs a little spread. She wouldn't blame him if he reached out to touch them, see if he can find the garter above the stockings. ]

I think it's about time you got another one, then. But you're the doctor, so ... you should tell me what to do?

[This is not the first time he's been cajoled into sexy doctor roleplay. As soon as people find out his job it's a fifty-fifty chance that it'll happen.
