Traditionally it's a bit of a losing bet. Third Party candidates don't generally get enough traction to get their names on the poll, so I'm not surprised to hear that.

That's like, the whole reason people don't trust politicians. Everything sounds nicey nicey and fake.

But I am really happy you earned your citizenship. I think it's impressive, and I like hearing success stories. That's real to me.
