Do you really count Daemon?

Of course. ( for all his faults, Daemon was his step father. The man oversaw lessons with a sword, who took him hunting and stepped into a roll he did not have to when Jacaerys had not wanted him to. ) Even when we do not get along, he has been a father to me. More present than others could be.

You don't seem anything like him. Which is a compliment.

There are sides to Daemon you did not see here, that he did not show. ( he sighs, defensive of his blood though he was nothing but frustrated by his uncle’s actions when he was here. ) This place did not do kindness to him.

Yeah? I haven't gotten to know her. During the wolf game, a little, but she was...well, pretty upset.

Perhaps a bit more… level-headed. ( he is not likely to sneak off to meet with the enemy during a war. then again, had he not snuck off on his dragon all the same to do something. Then he can admit: ) Though no one would say such a thing of my family.

Since werewolf she has been cautious of getting close to anyone here.

I don’t think that's the way to go about it. If anything, isn't it proof that we need to make connections and protect each other?

You made the choice to have first hand experience, I'm afraid.

I believe so but it is not so easy for people in our position. Connections are few. I've fared better than most of my kin here.

Of course, I think it. It does not mean that it comes naturally to everyone. Habits die hard, or so they say.
