I find it unnecessary to defend myself from whatever exaggerated version of the truth she's given you. I'm a politician. I wouldn't be able to survive if I wasn't used to people fabricating sordid tell-alls about me and my bedroom habits.

Wouldn't want to pop that ego you're carrying around, but she hasn't even mentioned you. All I've heard is the sordid crap you've confirmed yourself, talking about it out where everyone can see. Which is great politician work, by the way. Really impressive.
