The blowback wasn't as bad as it would've been if I was just starting out. Or if Ash was alive. Turns out declaring that the love of your life was assassinated gets you some pity points. Some of my past fucks did come out of the woodwork for their fifteen minutes of fame, but I'll be damned if I could remember a single one of their faces.
