[ Homelander gets as far as thinking you think there's a guy named 'Homelander Sr.' out there, and laughs before actually getting it out, when Soldier Boy isn't really much better. The sound trails off as he decides just how much he wants to say, and then, flatly (erring on the side of less): ]

Not really. Why, does that affect your ranking?

It could, yes. [another sip of his drink, musing:] Our gracious hostess thinks you're marriage material, but "Homelander III" is a lengthy moniker to place on an infant.

Nice of you to worry, but I wouldn't put that on a kid.

[ They'll just get their own supe name! That's normal, right? ]

Knew Nami had the right feeling about you. I knew a guy who was a junior and it followed him for years.

[a quirked eyebrow.] Test? What, market studies?

Can't say I disagree with that. [by now, corry's migrated over, settling easy in a chair with the all-encompassing presence of a man used to commanding attention.] "Homelander" does strike a certain...chord.

[breeding]

[ It's a demeanor, unsurprisingly, that doesn't sit particularly well with Homelander, though he mostly manages to keep the annoyance off of his face by reminding himself that he's been saved from the K part of FMK a few times now. ]
